What this means in practice
Many Indianapolis-area campuses hold both licenses on the same property under different buildings or wings, letting a resident move from one level of care to the other without changing addresses -- something worth asking about directly if aging in place matters to your family. The two license types are regulated under different rule chapters, inspected on different cycles, and only Comprehensive Care Facilities carry a federal CMS Care Compare star rating. If a marketing brochure blurs the line between the two, ask which specific license covers the building and unit your parent would actually live in.
